2015 publications

Researchers are answering questions that hadn’t even been imagined previously. Scroll down for the most recent 2015 results published by CyTOF users making discoveries at the functional protein level.

CyTOF has played a key role in more than a dozen published papers already this year, in areas including dermatology, arthritis, pregnancy, cancer, stem cells and immunology.

Congratulations Bernd Bodenmiller

Professor Bernd Bodenmiller of the University of Zurich was awarded the 2015 Robert J. Cotter New Investigator Award by the US Human Proteome Organization (US HUPO). His team is using mass cytometry to unravel the development of cancerous cell-to-cell signaling network interactions in the tumor microenvironment.

Spotlight: Immune Signatures Predict Surgery Recovery

Stanford’s Brice Gaudillière, MD, PhD, is doing groundbreaking research in collaboration with Gabriela Fragiadakis, Robert Bruggner, Martin Angst and Garry Nolan to reveal how activation of specific cell transcription factors correlates with the speed of recovery after surgery. Preassembled Sample Capillary Kit

To speed setup, we have released a ready-to-use Preassembled Sample Capillary Kit (Catalog No. 105922). The legacy Sample Capillary Kit (Catalog No. 101519) is still available, and it contains all the parts for assembling a capillary. Both kits offer top-quality data and performance.

Maxpar panel designer

An interactive web application to simplify and optimize panel design, the Maxpar panel designer uses metal-conjugated antibodies from the Fluidigm catalog and custom conjugates to calculate predicted signal overlap for each panel. The tool also provides a visualization and algorithm for optimizing each target's metal tag selections for peak performance. Save, export and share panels with collaborators and import reports with CyTOF instrument software. To access Maxpar antibodies, select Design in the Fluidigm custom assay application.
