Thank you to the hundreds of researchers who have gained deep spatial biology insights using Imaging Mass Cytometry and helped us reach this important milestone.Congratulations to Dr. Shang Xie and colleagues for publishing their research article “Hyperion™ image analysis depicts a preliminary landscape of tumor immune microenvironment in OSCC with lymph node metastasis,” in the Journal of Immunology Research in late June 2021. In a study of the tumor microenvironment (TME) in a common oral cancer, Imaging Mass Cytometry and the Hyperion Imaging System were used to learn whether insights from the TME could aid with the determination of prognoses, which varies significantly in this cancer. The results demonstrate the future potential for using the landscape of the immune environment as a reference for individual treatment planning.
